Periodic crashes, need help

Hello, I have been playing EB for some time, but from the beginning I am experiencing CTD every hour or two of playing. It happens sometimes after battle, sometimes after scrip activating, and sometimes at completely random times.

I think it may have something to do with my computer, so I need some advice with customising... (graphic settings, processes aborting and so)

I have AMD Athlon 64 3200+, 2.01Ghz, 1GB RAM
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT with latest drivers installed

Sadly, I recenty bought MTW2, and the same thing happens every hour or so, the game CTD...

So, can anybody help me, even if this can have nothing to do with EB?
Or just redirect me to some computer customising thread on org...
