    Default Fun w/ Custom Battles

What is the strangest, most outlandish, or craziest custom battle configuration you've ever used? It can be for any version or mod of the game, but if it's something other than vanilla MTW or VI, be sure to specify.

For mine, it'd have to come down to:

    1. All-Peasant Grudge Match. 16-unit armies all chock full of peasant units. I'll occasionally set one up when I'm bored, with mixed results.

    2. 1 unit (or 2 or 3 units, if you want to even the odds a little) of Royal Knights vs. a 16-unit peasant army. Can superior training overcome sheer weight of numbers?

    3. Siege battle w/ all siege engines on your side and a fairly weak unit (such as Peasants or UM) as defenders. See how much of the castle you can reduce to rubble before running out of ammo.

    4. VI Special: Berserkers vs. the World. 1 unit of Berserkers, as Vikings, defending a settlement against whatever enemy army you want to take on.

If you have your own ideas, I'd love to hear them (and maybe try them out).
Desperately trying to make sense of this forum's smiley system...

I ve set up Unit races with the Custom Battles. Choose two three or more units in one faction. Line them up. Have a peasant army at the other end, then : "On your marks, get set.."

Seriously, I ve done this to test the speed of desert archers, etc.
    A single leaf falls,
    then suddenly another,
    stolen by the breeze

When playing PMTW I used to fight some fun battles along the lines of point 2, pitting 4 units of Polish Husaria (superior fast superior anti-pike lancer cav....oh and did I mention they're really superior?) with 240 men against whatever I felt up to, say ....8 pikemen and musketeers respectively (1400-1600 men). Or 15 units of Russian feudal cavalry (1500 but easier). Somehow I won these match-ups most of the times but was surprised to fail miserably when I sent the army against 5 pike units and 11 cannons of different types....
like the kind of battle "1 berserker against the world", though :-)
