Unhappy Peg-legs and other graphics problems

Hi guys! It's been awhile since I posted here and by any defibition I'm a newb, but one of my friends has a problem with EB 8.0 and I know you guys are the best palce to deal with this.

All right my friend recently installed EB 8.0 on his PC after getting a new e-GeForce 6200 LE, and the models in EB have blocky and blurred textures in addition to peg-legs (as I call'em). I also had a similar situation when I installed RTW vanilla on my dad's laptop, but I never found out exactly what the problem was.

Any help you guys could give to me and my friend would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance for your time and any help you may give us.

Have him try out a Vanilla game and see if he has similar issues. We aren't doing anything fancy with the graphics that RTW didn't do first, so if it's EB specific then that's a new one on me.

Either the card itself just can't process the graphical elements of RTW, for whatever reason, or he needs to update his drivers for the card.

The peg-legs problem is simple. Turn on the "unit shaders" option in the video options menu.

About the blurry textures, that may be due to your settings as well. Try different options for the visual quality of units. On "very low" some units that normally look splendid turn into grotesque freaks.
