    Fondor_Yards,

I like the combination of excellent traits and pretty dark ones... Your Himilcar hates the Greeks, he hates the Gods, he is exterminator, but also we know he loves women... A very "human" hero, and a god basis for Role-playing him.

Maybe for the rest of his life he could try to exterminate Greeks, rape their wives and daughters and burn their temples...

Hey, cool idea for a thread. Here are my best from my current Ptolemaioi campaign. I present the brothers Thraikikos:

Leontiskos - conqueror of the Oracle at Siwa, Kyrene, Damascos, Seleukeia and Persepolis

    Alexandros - defender of Syria

I like this thread! anyway i have nothing too good to show...

here's a decent one from my last Cartage savegame. It's not comparable with fondor yard Himilco, but it is nothing bad too, pretty average.
(I had a much better one but he is dead before this last save, so no picture no prove... just words )
but at last this hamilcar have +2 command star when attacking (so count 7 CStar on attack )

    incompetent defender...

and there's no possibility to post a better carthaginian one cause im having no more big battles in this campaign... but i could post a very good lusitanian one in some days, if i can get to make him fight for a while...

My favourite general is not what he used to be. He is now known as: Mithridates the Lame. His old identity is gone and he was just sat doing nothing in Memphis.

There's no such thing as too much hypaspistai and argyraspidai!

*Hides his elite africa pikemen, elite african infantry, and sacred band cavalry army*
I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.

Is he hurt? Everybody asks that. Nobody ever says, 'What a mess! I hope the doctor is not emotionally harmed by having to deal with it.'

I just think the game is much more fun if you use balanced armies, instead of uber-armies a la vanilla.

I'm weak, I can't help it. When non-elite units get experience it feels like it's such a waste.
Anyway, my armies at this point is 5 hetaroi, 4 hypaspistai, 2 1-talent and 8 argyraspidai. I'm feeling like experimenting with horse archers and infantry leaning more to offense though. The old trusty "hammer and anvil" tactic is getting tedious and attacking with phalanx is something I avoid at all costs.
    Bah, enough OT.
