    • Introduction
    Welcome to the official thread to this new mod The New World-Total War, this is a mod for M2TW and runs on V1.2, Please take your time to read through this thread, plus take a bit of time looking at the other threads explaining certian things. This mod is about America in the Years 1650 to 1800.
    • Features
    This mod will feature
    -New factions(Britain,France,Russia,Spain,Portugal,The Dutch,The Indian Tribes,Pirates,Prussia,Rebels,The Iroquois Confederacy,The Sioux Confederacy ,Cherokee to name a few)
    -A completly new Campaign map
    -Completly new units (All units)
    -A new timeline (1650 to 1800)
    -A new age (Gunpowder,Inventions)
    -And much,much more

    We've starting up this mod again,first by scrapping all in active members, sending PM's out to get this alive again, and most of all, modding!

    Are the Indian Tribes united? Historically they should be separate.

    I would suggest that you put in the The Iroquois Confederacy, The Sioux Confederacy and the Cherokee at least.

    Hi people, I'm glad to be able to lend a hand where I can, while I work on my modding skills for my own RTW mod i'm planning.

    We are still waiting for news about tools from CA, who currently are working in there factories, not telling anyone anything...

    Ok, we have started discussion on all stuff, faction list is almost done. We have two new mebers. Tumbleweed has joined, and Caisus as a map maker, Caisus joined a while ago but I forgot to add him (Sorry CF)other then that, we are all good!

    Quite a bit.

    With the new expansion Ca is releasing we don't know the proper timeline yet. And at a guess its probably 1500-1650, whereas ours is 1650-1800.
    We will ahev many more nations, over 15. ANd much more, also with the new expansion it gives us many more items.

    so then will u try to kind of blend this one with the napoleonic or u´ll develop and new napoleonic era too?

    I don't really know what you mean there.

    If you are talking historical wise then i don't really know what you mean.

    But mod wise, some other mods have offered us help if we need it, and NW-TW has merged with another AMerican Mod.

    I believe he is asking of this mod will include Napoleon's campaigns in Europe. According the dates Warluster has given, I would presume that these battles would not be included. However, because Napoleon's campaigns are so close to the end date for Warluster's mod, many of the late period units would be similar to what Napoleon would be using at the time.

    Ah! Right, jsut to clarify. No it won't feature Napoleon's Campaign in EUrope, but (for the French) it might feature some of 'those' units, and we 'might' ahve a Frenhc Revoulution Thing, but it will not be historically correct, and not a lot of Napolonic units as thats right near the end of the mod.

    i have a silly question for u cos i´m not a comp expert. So you said that this patch will work with the 1.0 version of the game so...that this means we wont have the goodies of the 1.1 patch in it or they´ll be? and another is, when the 1.2 patch comes out ( if it ever does) then it wont be compatible with it?

    As we have not properly started modellign and all we could work with 1.2 or 1.1. But when ti gets to 1.2 we'll ahve to stay at that as we can't keep updating.

    I've updated the first post with all the latest stuff.

    We are now working on patch 1.2, because it has lots of goodies in it.

    The mods once again alive.

    I'm making a new forum.
