The Beer Thread

This thread will be dedicated to beer.

You can post all your knowledge about beer in here as well as any usefull tips on how to consume your divine drinks or what to consume them with (e.g. a Maredsous beer tastes wonderfull with (surprise surprise) some Maredsous cheese).

Allthough belgian beer is considered the best beer in the world by many "connaisseurs", I am sure my fellow Orgahs living outside our little beerparadise must have some good local beer too.

So please, introduce your fellow belgian Orgahs to your best beers.

Be aware though: this is not the drunkard's thread. This thread is more about degustating, enjoying, tasting.

For starters, let me introduce to you "Beersel" brewed in a small brewery called "De 3 Fonteinen":

Beersel Lager: brewed with malt, Saaz-hop and sugar. It's a beer of low fermentation and has a pleasant bitterness of 40 EBU.
Beersel Blond (my favourite): lagermalt, wheat, hop (10%) and water, alcohol percentage: 7%, light, sweet taste but also a tiny bit bitter.
Beersel Bio: alc 7%, not filtered, re-fermentation takes place in the bottle, lightly sweet taste and a fine bitter "afdronk" (sorry, don't know the word in English).
