Thread: The perfect game

    Default The perfect game

I have played a long campaign and conquered the world.

I have played a short campaign aiming to be everyone's friend, giving french territories to france, capturing Inverness for the scots etc. but that flopped thanks to financial problems and betrayals, and i got bored sitting in London watching the turns go by.

Now I feel it is time to play my idea of a perfect game - ie. one where your capital is the biggest city in the world, your armies contain every unit under the sun, and you have at least one of every guild. I almost managed this in MTW thanks to a lot of bribery and got there eventually having modded the rebels.

So, firstly is there a MTW2 equivalent to the .deadringer. cheat??

Secondly, how do I enter it??

Thirdly, what do I have to change for one faction to be able to recruit any type of unit??? - I quite fancy fighting with highlanders and nubian spearmen on the same side and suchlike.

    thanks GG

ok, i think deadringer was money cheat, yes?
if so, bring up console (~ key) and type (without quotes) "add_money 40000"

That cheat gives 40k florins, but unlike R:TW you can enter it as many times as you want.

Thirdly, that would require a LOT of modding, and at this point in time, it takes experienced modders (no offence to you, I'm just presuming your not an experienced modder) a long time to put 1 unit into another faction.

See how long it took the guy to let Byzantines have Musketeers?

thanks. i'm definitely not an experienced modder, I just use other people's mods - for the original MTW I used an editing software that had all the units listed with their stats, restrictions etc. any idea if one of those is being worked on for this?
