Thread: patch 1.2?

    Default patch 1.2?

    where can i find a version 1.2 patch? or is the problem with my disc? because everytime i try to play the Medieval, it says my disc cannot be found(I downloaded version 1.1 to try and help with my sudden windows 2000 crashes) is this a bug in 1.1? ty.

    Patch 1.2 doesn't exist.

    I've never heard of a problem like that before, maybe post this in the Main Hall or Apothecary.

    I'd run over to the Apothecary as well, but you may just have managed to have a bad install. You could try a complete uninstall, and another clean install and see if that solves the problem.

    If you have problems with the uninstall you very well could be on the right track.

    You've probably downloaded the wrong patch. Make sure you download and install the correct v1.1 patch for your country/region, otherwise the CDROM won't be recognised, and the game won't run.

    The other possibility is that you're running a pirate copy. Patching that will overwrite some of the "changes" that have been made to cause the game to run without the CDROM, if this is the case, then you should go out and buy the game. It's very cheap these days.

    Do you have Medieval II Total War or Medieval Total War?

    Which game do you have, maybe the patches you downloaded are for the wrong one.
