I've downloaded the v1.1 patch for M2TW. I clicked on extract files, with Medieval II Total War as the destination folder. However, no tools directory has been created, so I don't think I have installed it properly. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Yes - you're not installing it
*wonders if anyone reads the readme/knows what an extractor is
You need to extract the patch to a temporary folder, open that and run the file setup.exe to install the patch

I extracted the files to the M2TW folder, and I've noticed a new folder there called "main". Does that mean its installed OK?
EDIT: The readme says to place the unpacker file in the M2TW installation folder at tools/unpacker. But I can't find a installation or tools folder. Official patches should not be so complicated to install!
