    Default Face a Celebrity

I don't know if this has already been posted once upon a time. This is a programme that sort of scans a photagraph of your face and compares it with celebrities. Quite a lot of fun.

You will need to register with the site, however. No confirmation needed. Works really quickly. Have a picture of yourself ready (passport foto is probably ideal).

Apparently, I look like some actor dude called Paolo Bonolis (70%), director Steven Soderbergh (63%) etc.

However, the most disturbing ones were Niki Lauda (52%), Salman Rushdie (47%) and Jamie Foxx (47%). I am neither burnt, old with beard nor black. Clearly, the programme only recognises facial features, i.e. contours. Still, interesting enough.

    Enjoy!

Well, the picture I used perhaps wasn't the best, but here were my matches...

Christopher Reeve 64% (God, that's creepy...)
    Claude Shannon 61%
JC Chasez 60% (NSync guys are supposed to be hot, right?)
Harold Wilson 52% (bloody hell, I'm a Limey now?)
    Christopher Uckermann 52%
    Alexander Graham Bell 50%

I didn't want to see what women I resemble... cause that's kinda scary...

EDIT: I'm not too sure about this thing. I tried another photo and got:

    John Deacon 74%
    Bobby Darin 60%
    Johnny Depp 59% (oh snap)
    Leonardo DiCaprio 59% (damn, I'm a stud aren't I?)
    Timothy Dalton 58%
    Ralph Lauren 58%
    Dudi Belsar 57%

    Hmmm...

Why do are there only 3 men in the top 10 celebrities I look like?
Anyway apparently I look a lot like Ashton Kutcher 73%. Followed by a couple of women...

    73% Recep Tayyip Erdogan (Wha?)
    72% Vincenzo Bellini (Again, who?)
70% Timothy Dalton (I know this one - I reckon it's the DJ that did it)
    68% Kristen Bell (!!!!!)

Stuck a different photo through. Apparently I look 90% like Kirsten Dunst. Explains why I like looking at myself in the mirror I suppose...

Katrina Kaif (68%, she looks like a man)
Tiiu Kuik (66%, and she is hot)
Camilla Belle (64%, looks like a man with a unibrow. I do not have a unibrow.)
Tarkan (64%, and who is that?)
Lauren Graham (63%, WTF is with all the ladies and man-ladies?)
    Jeremy Northam (63%)

What bothers me about this is that I have a lot of hair on my head, whereas Darwin and Bernard Shaw had none. I have a good 15 cm of hair on my head. I do however, have a minimal beard, I will give them that.

I'm not sure if it ignores the hair or not, because most of the women (and some of the men) have long hair in the comparative pictures, whereas I wear mine medium-short.

Then how does it recognize the lower 3/4 of Bernard Shaw's and Darwin's heads? They grow their beards so long that they loose all facial definition.

Beats me, but another one of my pictures was compared to Brahms, 63% or something. It was one where I was glaring.

Has anyone tried putting a picture of celebrity in, like Brad Pitt or Kirsten Dunst and seeing if it recognises it?
