Hungarian Assassins

I'm not really sure what requirements you need to recruit them in campagin. Possibly you need the highest and last rank of the Assassin's Guild?

I've used hungarian assassins in custom battle. They can beat Hasishim ,or however they are spelled, in a 1v1 even though the Hungarians have 5 pts lower armour and rest of statistics are same. However, they are pretty good ambushers. I tend to keep 1 or 2 near my gen to suprise overconfident, egotistical generals who try to kill mine :D
