    Default A question about licensing

Hello, everyone. This is Abou's friend, who has a question--apropos of nothing--about the licensing of the Europa Barbarorum mod.

Is there a unified license that the work--from my understanding, there are new skins, new music, new voice modifications, and custom scripting--falls under? Certainly, since EB is a collaboration, there would have to be a consensus, which can itself be divisive. Is this just sort of a "community of friends" situation?

I ask partly because Abou and I both really like the soundtrack for the mod, and wondered about the plausibility of getting our hands on the source WAVs or some other lossless form.

Abou: maybe a torrent of an ISO or FLAC?

There are no licensing packages. The way to do this is to PM khelvan with a specific request and he will route it appropriately. It might not be an immediate response, but you will generally get one within a week unless things are really crazy behind-the-scenes.

Like how it is every week?

    :P
I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.

Is he hurt? Everybody asks that. Nobody ever says, 'What a mess! I hope the doctor is not emotionally harmed by having to deal with it.'
