I got home from work last night and took the dogs for a walk. The Posties were still delivering in my neighborhood at 8:30pm. Must have been a rough day...

I love that sceneBecause the mail never stops. It just keeps coming and coming and coming. There's never a letup, It's relentless. Every day it piles up more and more, but the more you get out, the more it keeps coming. And then the bar code reader breaks. And then it's Publisher's Clearinghouse day!

He/she is a licensed, but not medical, back (spine) doctor (small "d"). Some in the medical community regard them as phonies, but many postal carriers swear by them - including little 5'1" Mrs. Kukri (also a posty), who visits hers every other week. Those fully-loaded 70-lb. mail satchels can wear one out pretty quickly.
Wednesday WAS quite a heavy day (12 hours; 8 on-the-street). Beer tasted really good after that day.
