    Ah you mean settlements and stuff. Right, those are defined in descr_cultures.

    Minimum unit size sweems to have been reduced in MTW2. A value of 5 in the unit size works without a crash. Lower is a CTD. On huge unit size, this gives 12 men, or 13 for a unit with a general model present.

    a building 'tree' is a structure where you build one building...which allows you to build 2 others etc. To build one, you must have the 'parent'

    They call it a tree because the structure, when draqwn out, looks like branches coming off a central 'trunk'

    The game will crash part way through if you increase the maximium number of children a person can have (descr_campaign_db.xml). For example when I increased it from 4 to 5 children my mod crashed after 20 turns (always during the AI's turn). I have not tested whether you can lower the number of children.
    4 Seasons (6 Empires battle for supremecy); 3.0 version
    Total War Eras (start at 970, 1080, 1200, 1300, 1400, or 1500); 2.4 version
    Eras Total Conquest (start at 1230, 1346, 1547); 1.2 version
