As someone who's played the series over the years I almost hate to ask this but in the financial summary there is income listed in corruption. Where am I getting this from?![]()

Your cut from the thieves' guild?
Fear nothing except in the certainty that you are your enemy's begetter and its only hope of healing. For everything that does evil is in pain.
-The Maestro Sartori, Imajica by Clive Barker
Contracted hits? Your cut from the brothels? Black Mail? Body disposal? More realistically, Papal Indulgences from your Priests?

It's the amount that you are losing through corruption. Cities far from your capital typically lose quite a lot to corruption.
Yes but hes refering to the small amount of money you gain through corruptionOriginally Posted by katank

Exactly, this is on the income side, not expenditure. And it isn't from people paying me off, that gets listed in another section. I am guessing, as has been mentioned previously, that there must be a cut from thieves guilds or something along those lines. It isnt from missions, trade, diplomacy or taxes. It isn't from merhcants. Obviously not part of the kings purse either. But I am getting 173 florins per turn (currently) from somewhere. I am tempted to start a fresh comapign and track stuff like churches being built and whatnot just to find out in fact IS coming from for certain.Originally Posted by ShadesPanther
If you track it down to the city level, I think you'll find it's labelled "administration" on the further details pages - a little bonus income you get from some settlements. Not sure if it is certain buildings or governors traits that give you it, though.
I always thought it was 'Devestation' income from having your armies parked on enemy land. The same way you lose some if they park on yours.
I think econ21's idea is the most plausible because I get this income without having a Thieves' Guild and without having armies on foreign soil.
P.S. My first post in over 2 years. Good to be back.
