After trying to get a coplicated playlist of mp3 files from several folders (and not wanting to play all files in a few of those folders), were I tried to open them through use of shift and ctrl and dubbleclick (opens all folders marked logically enough). I did find out how to fix the wanted playlist, but by some reason the windows display started to bug out.

When trying out this, the filenames and foldernames disappeared in 3 folders in the miniature mode (standard for the music artist display) and I opened 5 folders there. The files/folders were seen, but the names were gone. Moving the files from the folders made the names reappear, but putting the files in another folder and then naming the folder into the old name, made the names disappear again.

I was unsuccessfully messing around with this for a while and only being in the my music folder, an then I checked the comp only to discover that every single folder on the comp was now in music mode!! I'm not sure if my messing around with the display (properties/adapt) or the first buggy thing caused it.

Anyhow digging around trying to fix this I found some restore system for folders in the folder alternative option in the controlpanel. Did work moderatly well and actually fixed the first bug, but forced me to go through most folders to get them displayed right.

Now to the remaining issue. My harddrives, the folder C:\program and the folder my documents cannot be changed by properties/adapt and they still remain in music mode, even after use of the restore folders function.

So my questions are:

1) How the @#$§&¤£ do you fix that? Sure you can fix the folder into a better display (done that), but I'm still annoyed by having that music activities display on the side (and yes the comp will start to play all sound files on the chosen harddrive if I want to).
2) And what caused it? It looks like a changing to music display (through properties/adapt) for the entire computer, but it's done on a such high level were it's impossible to do it (normally it seems...).

3) What caused the bug that started this (no diplaying on names in a folder)? Can you fix it without "restore" (=aka mess them up a bit) your system?
