Post Re: Capo de Tutti Capi (in play)

My dearest fellows, The Stranger is an innocent towns person working with one other townee and one wise guy. That is what I believe and know for an almost fact. He is working for the good of the town. Trust me! Keep him alive.

    And for now I:
    Vote: luigi VI di Fatlington

I'm not experienced, but his actions seem to be a danger to an innocent person.

Luca's can investigate too... he can just claim to be a detective and perform an investigation while he is just a luca. And posting the roledescription... he could also get it from some one else...

Now I'm not drawing a quick conclusion anymore... just you should not get fooled so quickly and believe him on his investigation only.

I say I'm innocent, and thats what the test will reveal.

Andres, I'd advise you to tell about the pm. You will probably get my vote if you don't by this evening.

The Stranger hasn't done to many bad things lately and I'd be interested in Pevergreen's and the_stranger's explainations. Weird thing, the mafia could have tried to kill a detective and they didn't? Do they know more about you?

Kommodos, you are verry inactive are you. That one time you were a mafia, you did the same thing. I know we discussed strategies. In a huge game like this this is more easy. Are you using you formula or vorting cheats. I remmeber last time you were angry on me when I told this when we were mafia. Sorry I had to pick you out but I just know more on how you play the mafia role than most others. And I want to check it out if you are mafia now I still can, I've been attacked after one round of me playing and this can happen again. Tell me kommodos, are you?

Glad to see that there weren't any easy frames on me like, Arrividerci or a mafia killing with a falx or something. I was expecting those.

No GG, I'm a townie this time.

My analytical methods have undergone some evolutions since last time you were around. My current method is tricky to apply in a situation like this, in which there is a large number of players and a lot of mafiosi - especially since the mafia can recruit. But I haven't been as inactive as my post count would suggest. When I have something useful to say, I'll say it.

Not quite sure who to vote for yet... I have a suspect, but I'm not quite ready to cast the vote.

So few posts yet, when attacked, one follows immediatly.
Who else did that in this thread?

I know your system has changed. I might not have played many gams for a long time since. That doesn't mean I am not up to date. I hope you are a townie. You weren't really convincing but well your not suspicious or anything. So don't think I'm going to vote you or something. I'll just keep an eye on you.

Moros. Pevergreen was protected... Byzantine Knight "accidentally" said that so maybe the called of the kill at the last moment. Or maybe Pevergreen's a luca or even a Don... he ordered his luca to investigate me... and he could post the results.. claiming to be a detective that has done his job...

I'm going to echo CountArach's request for the investigation result PMs from pevergreen.

Also, question for Sasaki: you say you participated in townie groups. Were they all protection groups, or were some of them killing groups? According to the rules, a townie who has participated in a successful killing will show up as "criminal" in detective investigations.

I wouldn't discount pevergreens role as quick as some are doing here. We all know what options the Mafia has when someone proclaims himself the detective. He will always have the problem that people won't beleive him. The only thing that confirms his role for most people is when he gets killed or attacked by the Mafia. So most of the time the Mafia tends to leave those people alone to draw more suspicion on them.
I still think that the best way to test pevergreens detectivness is to let him investigate certain individuals and then lynch them and find out if his findings match the investagion results posted by Seamus.

I though the consensus was to lynch The Stranger this round to see whether pevergreen is a real detective or not. The Stranger may well be helpful with his PMing and acting behind the scenes. His death should not prevent him from doing these things though.
Still, right now I'm waiting on pevergreens investigation results and I think we should go from there.

Also nice job everyone on lynching Krazilec. I thought it was a wild shot at best, but seems like we got ourselves a Don rigth off the bat!

When MRDs mom identified his headshot body in the morgue, she stripped off his pants in search of the Willie Nelson tatoo on his scrotum, just to make sure.

    It was there.

On his right thigh were four homeade tatoos with locals names, the results of his investigations. MRD had a "memory problem" since the bad fall while sledding with the kids in the ice storm. Two of the names were the same, and the result was the same both times according to the tatoo. Two individual names with innocent by them, and one name twice with guilty by it each time. There was also a phone number written on the palm of his hand with the word "cleaner" beneath it.

"Will you need a return ticket?" asked the clerk at the bus station.

"Not likely," responded MRDs mum, as she shuffled the grandkids onto the bus. "Enjoy your director you sonsofbitches."

The clerk just nodded, too caught up with the line of people waiting to get out of town.

“Stig too was a criminal. We’d had indications before this, but nothing conclusive. There was, however, nothing to connect him to one of the predatory gangs, so our current theory is that he wouldn’t play ball so he was taken for a ride – well, in his case a bad dinner.”
