Because pevergreen has claimed he is a detective, and The_Stranger and Motep have also been behaving erratically, starting with The_Stranger's riddle "I'm THE DON". The_Stranger meandered all over the place after I kept pressing him for a satisfactory explanation. As I said, he was either pro-Mafia or an unhelpful townie, based on his behaviour. Motep's behaviour is more classically Mafia, trying to start a bandwagon on Sasaki among others for little reason, and agreeing with me in a post that seemed to say much but contained little substance, in a manner reminiscent of Kommodus' backing of my accusation of Uesugi Kenshin in Mafia III. There were a number of things that made me suspicious of pevergreen, but he claimed to be detective.

Hence my proposal that pevergreen should investigate The_Stranger and Motep, and then we execute those two. By the night following the second execution, the autopsy for the first lynchee should be available, and we could compare the autopsy results with pevergreen's investigations, and decide whether pevergreen should follow.

Those were my initial thoughts. However, pevergreen is taking an awful long time to come back with his investigations, and I'm less sure of The_Stranger now than I was. However, Motep should still hang. His explanations of his role and behaviour are even less convincing than The_Stranger's.

And Andres? I'm sure he's guilty, or unhelpful to the point of being effectively guilty. He'll hang sooner or later. I'm just interested in seeing if pevergreen is as clean as some people claim.

Pevergreen claimed to investigate me and Redleg on the first night, and found us both innocent. He said he participated in a group on the second night. Can the other members of that group raise their hands?

I'm guessing most roles can double as townies.

Does anyone want to get a lurker list for us?

    Notes:

Most, but not all, roles may double as Townies.

Andres receive his PM from me nearly 2 hours after I posted the Lynch summary -- not 20 minutes as earlier noted.

I found the Spiney Norman bit screamingly funny back in the late 30 years ago when I first heard it -- and still do. The Pirahna brother should run for President.

No problem Seamus. Even if I get lynched in your game I'll still love you

I too want to see pevergreens investigation results. Although if Andres pm's are genuine then pevergreen is guilty.

    Hello Seamus,

Thanks for your brilliant write-ups and for this excellent game. It's a blast.

However, you wouldn't be getting nervous about it being over too soon with us killing off all your mobsters at an alarming rate, wouldn't you? Know that throwing in a new wise-guy and 'helping' him a bit isn't going to work though

Look, adding another mafia in the middle of the game you'd consider unfair, even when you're not amused that three mafiosi are already down. A townie role seems silly, you don't draw people into the game and then give them a townie role. Also, you decided on a wise-guy role so it would keep his options open for him, what with him joining in at the middle of the game.
He could choose his direction himself.

Unfortunately, he hasn't been wise enough of a wise guy to choose the winning side, the town. His own words in this thread have revealed him.

Three mafia down, one in the making next.

    Vote: AndresTheCunning.

I can confirm that I asked him to particapate in a protection group. I can confirm that he stated that he would, but I cannot confirm that he actually sent the message that confirms his particapation in the protection.
O well, seems like 'some' people decide to ruin a perfectly valid threat. Nice going guys... doc bean

hmmm... so he might not be after all.
Okay then Pevergreen is from my list...for now. TOugh ofcourse the possibility exists that you are a maifa freind. But for now Pever is off my list. That means Motep and Andres are left.

Did you even did the effort of reading post 944 in this thread? Or are you ignoring it on purpose?

    *sigh*

Sure you can lynch TS, Motep and me, pretend you want to lynch pevergreen and meanwhile keep him alive for another turn or 2, 3, 4... allowing him to continue his killing spree for another turn or 2, 3, 4...
