As a history buff, then you'll probably enjoy visiting the Monastery once you're a full member. (Something to look forward to!)

You are in the throes of junior membership at this time, think of it as a time of prepubescent exploration of the world, a time of growth, learning, and picking your nose. After awhile you might feel strang tinglings within your body, women may become less attracted to you, and your parents might get the strange feeling that you've gone into a deep recession of dementia. This is all perfectly normal, because at the end of this long and arduous task, you will spread your wings and fly into the responsbilities that we hold as regular membership.

As you might have noticed, you're a "Junior Member" for the moment. If you keep posting regularly, following the Forum-rules (no spamming, no swearing, etc etc), you'll be promoted to full member status within 2 or 3 weeks (don't worry if it takes a bit longer, with the release of M2TW, the .Org is a bit more crowdy then usual meaning the staff has a busy time, if it takes longer then let's say a month, then pm one of the Admins).

Until then, you can only post in the Entrance Hall and the game related fora. Not in the miscealleanous ones (which includes the monastery).

Don't worry though, if you want to discuss history, feel free to open a thread in the Entrance Hall. One of the moderators will move it to the appropriate forum.

I know it's a bit nasty to be restricted, but the .Org has it's reasons (like problems with spam bots in the past). Being a Junior Member doesn't mean something negative: we are all equal in here, so don't worry too much about it

On the other hand there are tons of intresting threads in the Monastery. By the time you checked them all out, you'll have your full member status. Not to mention some nice, history related stories in the mead hall.

Btw, did I welcome you already? If not: a warm welcome to you, new fellow Orgah Enjoy your stay

Nope, you're a Junior Member. You have restricted posting privledges until the Moderators deem you're not a threat to their threads. (Gotta love alliteration). It's nothing personal we all go through it, they just want to make sure you play nice in the sandbox, thats all.

    Lesson one for new members

    Example. the two above posts

We at the org are so willing to post hello to you, that we all write at the same time, often double posting or saying the same thing as one another.

When it happened to me (I thought i joined in December...*scratches head*) i fell off me chair!

LOL, yup, we all kill ourselves trying to be the first one to pop off the answer, we are that helpful. Consider my post a streamlined version of AndresTheCunning.
