    Question sense of humour?

    mushi mushi,

today i told/set up a joke at work which i think managed to upset almost everyone in the room...heres what happened....

After a big weekend, the people at work were giving me some grief about the weekend asking about it and saying things like who or what did you do on the weekend... to this i said i was with a girl on the weekend, but theres a problem she lied about her age....to which they replied 'how old was she' i said 16 (the legal age here, btw im 24), they said well thats okay how old did she say she was...? to which i replied "12" as i walked out the door and went on my way...

they didnt see the funny side of it at all... which begs the question how far is too far and is having sick sense of humour less accepted now days with the PC mad nut jobs afoot.

    creepy?

Classic joke, reversal of expectations. You have nothing to apologize for. Unless your delivery sucked, that is. Then again, issues involving children and sex have been a little too much in the news for this kind of humor to be without danger.

LOL I thought it was funny. I don't joke at my job therefore I don't have to worry about offending anyone.

At the same time I make everyone else's life miserable by complaining when they tell jokes at work.

Nice, huh? That'll teach 'em for being PC.

That loled me, so yeah. It's either the delivery or the PC brigade.

I hope they didn't take it too seriously and realised it was a joke after.

The fact your colleagues didn't understand the joke, makes it even better

Seems pretty funny to me, it probably would have gotten a grown out of the people I work with. If they didn’t think it was funny or at least grown worthy they are lame or have had 12 year old daughters victimized by old guys.

    Enough is enough.

Thread has served whatever purpose it had.
