I occasionally buy games from eBay, but anything that ships from Asia I just won't buy. I figure it's probably a 75% chance it's a pirated copy. They were selling M2 on eBay from Thailand before the game came out in the US, and at below retail price.
Age and treachery will defeat youth and skill every time.
And you are wrong. I bought the same game from the same seller and it is a an original. However the seller wrote it in ebay, that the manual is in thai so it is no suprise.
If someone tells me if it is legal to put the manual online, I will do it so you can download it.

Yeah, original software from thailand. That'll be the day. Dunno if you've ever been to a high street software shop in thailand, but the cost of the software runs something like this: $5 per disc. Thats regardless of whether this disc contains a $50 PC game or $20,000 worth of CAD software. The value of the data is irrelevant, youre paying for the costs of making the disc and printing the cover.
Thats not from some dodgy market stall, or from the back of somebodys car, but from a high street shop.
Chance its pirated if its from thailand? 90% (conservative estimate)
Chance its pirated anyway if its from ebay? 50% (total guess)
Chance your software is legit if you bought it from thailand on ebay?![]()

No disrespect to Thais, who are no doubt great people, but this thread is starting to raise alarm bells.![]()
