I know these issues have probably been posted a million times, but I installed the 1.1 patch and I really didn't seen an improvement in the majority of bugs I saw.

For example, I still get times where my cavarly will begin to charge and then stop and wade into their target with swords drawn and thus be slaughtered. I thought the 1.1 patch was supposed to fix this. I use both the double right click and the alt + attack and it's still haphazard. Does anyone else still experience this? Are there some prerequisites that I'm unaware of?

For example, is there a minimum distance required? Does the cavalry have to be walking and not running? After they charge one, do they break their lances and can no longer charge again?

If there's something I can do to remedy this on my client, please let me know. There is still some problems with infantry charges as well.

I've also had experiences where enemy armies sally forth to attack me. When a majority of their forces route, they stack up underneath the gate. I don't know why the gate doesn't open and I don't really care. The frustrating part is that I order my cavarly or infantry units to mop them up and they come within 5 feet of them and then stop and tell me their orders have been completed. The only way I can kill them is if I bring a ranged unit within distance.

There are also serious pathfinding problems. When I attack a city with siege towers and ladders, sometimes all of my men will get to the wall. Other times a large portion of the unit will mill about beneath the wall. Worse, when I order a unit to reinforce another one and move up the ladders, sometimes the unit bunches up outside of the walls and only uses one of the ladders instead of all four. Moreover, when I break down the gate with a battering ram and order my men to deploy inside the walls, some actually run and climb the ladders or siege towers already in place instead of just going through the gate. It's utterly frustrating and time consuming and takes a lot of fun out of a major part of the game.

I've also noticed that there are problems with armies pathfinding on the campaign map. For example when I was crusading, I moved an army down past a Turkish city as I moved toward Antioch. He got stuck near the city because he was within proximity to the Turkish forces within the city. Each turn he kept moving from one hex to the next, back and forth, back and forth and all of my forces deserted because I wasn't moving toward the Crusade objective fast enough.

Anyway, if there's something that I can do to remedy any of this, please let me know. I would prefer to avoid waiting two months for another piecemeal patch.
