    Default Rebels, Rebels, Rebels, Rebels...

    I'm playing a campaign ATm with my own modded unit/trait/ancilliarie files and a modified start file.

    I'm playing as scotland and somthing really odd is happening. MASS REBELS. the dumb thing is i've disabled Brigand_Spawn in the Strat File, so I shouldn't be getting any. In reality however, every single province has at least one army in it. if their arn't enough armies it spawns some new ones at the end of the turn. They also tend to be quite good.

    One I saw had 4 units of Armoured Swordsmen, 1 Unit of Mailed Knights, and one unit of Spear Militia.

    I beat them, (with massive losses), but it's getting annoying. especially since none should be spawning at all. I'm also seeing massed pirate fleets, (try 4 pirate navies of 3 pirate ships apeice on the FIRST TURN).

    Anybody else get this after modding, and anyone got any idea why?

    What level did you set the rate to in the strat file? It needed to be as high as possible (100) to get no rebels/infrequent rebels in R:TW so I presume the same is similar for M2:TW.

    wooops...

    set it to 0 thinking that meant 0% chance of spawning:p.

    here a screenshot to show how bad it can get (and all those stacks are 2-3 ship ones too BTW).

    Can anyone else confirm you need to set it to 100 to shut them up as strangly it sems to be just me and the english that are getting swamped, where spending so much time eliminating rebels neithier of us has had time to take Dublin or attack each other.

    The dumbest thing is that half those fleets are the ones that spawned off the scottish coast on turn 1.

    Rebels are some of the more annoying parts of the game and I'm glad to nix em. Thanks for the info and the humorous pic
