    Default Need a little help!

Sorry guys, but I need a little help installing patch v1.1.

After downloading patch and unzipping file I read the txt file, it said that I was to extract the files to the 'tools\unpacker' folder of my Medieval II: Total War installation folder?

I can't find the 'tools\unpacker folder' to place the files.

Do i create a tools\unpacker folder within my main MTW2 directory the place the files in it?

I have extracted the patch, can I copy the contents to my data folder the run batch file?

Do I need a tools\unpacker folder to run the patch?

    Copy of txt file info

III. BASICS OF USING THE UNPACKER
    ______________________________________________________________________

    - The Unpacker should be placed in the 'tools\unpacker' folder of your
Medieval II: Total War installation folder

    - To unpack all files and place them in your 'data' directory run
    the batch file 'unpack_all.bat'

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
NOTE: To use this batch file the Unpacker and the batch file must
be in the 'tools\unpacker' folder for Medieval II: Total War

    - To create a text file with a list of all files within the packs
run the batch file 'list_contents.bat'. This will create a file
    'pack_contents.txt' in the 'tools\unpacker' folder;

NOTE: To use this batch file the Unpacker and the batch file must
be in the 'tools\unpacker' folder for Medieval II: Total War

Please if anyone read this please correct me if i am wrong.

The file that you download is not the actual patch. From your description i understand that you only unpack the patch files but you did not install it.
After unpacking the patch file (by running the downloable - as you did) you need to run the installation file (i dο not remember the file name as i am at work). After that you will see the new folder that the readme says about.

    Good Luck.
