Thread: perfect tw game?

    Lightbulb perfect tw game?

I really don't know where to post this topic so I figured this would be the place for an opinion based post on two different games.Since i was originally a mtw player, I have always Loved the risk style map. It worked, it was decisive, and required more planning and strategy than the new style map. However, I love the look of the new battle engine, with colorful 3d units, not sprites, and all the cool animations. This really leaves me torn between the two games.

It would be really great it CA could combine the strategy and planning of the risk map needed in mtw 1 and the amazing look of the battles in Mtw 2.
This would be so amazing if it was possible to make a mod that could combine the two. That is just a dream though, as it would require more modding than humanly possible, and probably would be impossible. Well there is always hope for the next game in the series.

Don't lose hope as we have a large number of crack modders willing to devote huge amounts of time making the games in the TW series perfect. If its possible, I am sure someone will try and do it.
Every weapon has evolved from the same basic design, either a rock or a sharp pointy stick.

    Hi,
I'm sorry to say that the risk style map cannot be implemented into M2:TW and the graphics of M2:TW cannot be implemented into M:TW - it is all, very sadly hardcoded, meaning it cannot be changed by anybody, but the CA. Nice idea though. Cheers!
