There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

England has beaten the Aussies
YESSSS!!!
Only lost 5 tests, the ashes first whitewash in 70 odd years and the last 6 or so one day games... including to NZ.
Finally.
I hope this reverses the trend and the next ashes is a nail biter... not a pillow biter for the Poms.

How do you play cricket?
Names, secret names
But never in my favour
But when all is said and done
It's you I love
You get a really, really tiny bow, hold his legs, and bow 'crost his little antennae. Awful sounding.Originally Posted by Caius Flaminius

Ja Mata, Tosa.
The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder
You do realise that our captain wasn't playing in that match, don't you?
Seriously, when you get excited after winning 1 game and losing 17 you know you've got serious problems![]()

There is women's cricket but like most men's sports it's not big business for them.

Yeah most female cricketers don't earn too much. Some do alright and have minor advertising agreements, but for the most part it doesn't pay too much for them.
Male cricketers on the other hand earn a lot.
