Yeah BTS is really good. It introduces a lot of new stuff which will keep you going for a long time. The new scenarios, especially Final Frontier, are great as well. I'm not at all a fanatical player, and I love it. Even the new civilizations alone are enough to get me coming back, but thats not to mention all the other amazing features like corporations and espionage, random events and all the cool new units like Mobile Artillery and Paratroopers.Originally Posted by doc_bean

Yes, BTS is a very good and definitely worth buying. The only downside is that some of the new features are not balanced very well, which throws off the pretty decent balance that they had going with Warlords.

Got to Hollister last night. I quickly discovered that his face is invincible to shotgun bullets so, after two or three tries, I gave up for the evening, I'll probably try again later. Any tips?
EDIT: I think it's Hollister. The leader of the Renegades, odd-looking face, strange hat.

I intend to play as Lincoln next because he is one of the new leaders and the American Navy Seal should perform well in the enhanced modern era.

I'm currently addicted to WH40k: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. It makes me want to dust off my Imperial Guard army and paint new miniatures.
But what POs me the most is that all commanders EXCEPT the Space Marines (haven't checked the Orks) get a wargear upgrade that allows them to detect infiltrated units. This isn't all that bad since he gets the best melee in the game and has a personal teleporter. Still, it's trouble if you run against a Tau or Eldar army.

Well, I'm still on my PS2, and probably won't get a 'next gen' system, since my vid game interest has waned somewhat. Currently playing the Prince of Persia series(again). Definitely one of my favorite series of all time.
Also, BTS is great, I played it at a friend's place and was very impressed with the limited time I was playing it.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.
