MOH Vanguard. Beat it once on veteran, going for the medals. (I have all the madals from the first two campaigns, and need three more for the third, and all but five for the last)

Once finished, Ill beat it on hard.

I just finished Final Fantasy VIII after revisiting it after like -- what, six years? I hadn't finished it originally (I managed to get stuck at the first encounter with Galbadia Garden in the village of Balamb), but I was bored recently and decided to play it through again, and finish it this time. I gotta say... I wish I'd done this earlier. The game reached whole new levels of epic from where I'd previously stopped playing.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The scene in space where Rinoa's about to die and Squall saves her is iconic. The scenes that follow, specifically the one on the Ragnarok's bridge during re-entry, as well as them making "the promise" at Edea's house... awesome. I definitely missed out on something by calling it quits all that time ago.

Now the guide's out I can say I'm playing nothing but Kingdoms. It's been that way since release day. Bioshock et al had to be shelved.

Now work has calmed down sufficiently for me to get a lunch break I'm starting to play Brave Story on my PSP on some days. It's light, it's enjoyable, and it's perfect for an exhausted frog to play in short bursts. The shop which used to sell imported games has begun to cautiously stock American DS and PSP titles again. I admit I snapped up a fistful of titles before the opportunity disappears.

Now that I have a computer capable of running most anything, I'm now switching between BF2, M2TW, The Movies, Titan Quest, Oblivion, Vampire: Bloodlines, and anything else that catches my fancy.

EB, The First Triumvirate, Deus Lo Vult (mods for RTW/M2TW).
Star Wars:JK3 with the Survival Mod. Not necessarily easy.

Oblivion, from time to time, and Company of Heroes too. Much less than before, sadly.

Completed Brave Story in 23 hours, 12 minutes.

Next up will be Jeanne d'Arc, another of the little batch of import games I snapped up from that shop. Jeanne d'Arc the PSP strategy RPG, not the disappointing Dynasty Warriors PC clone with exactly the same name.

Finished the Survival mod for JK3. Phew, I'm not doing that again for some time! Oblivion and Company of Heroes were uninstalled a week ago or something. I just wasn't getting enough gaming hours in for those two.

I played Star Wars:KotOR II the past few days, finished it with a Light Side male Jedi Master, and today started Star Wars:KotOR. It's kind of like Lucas' planning: the last three movies shown first, with the first three shown last.

Ricky with the VIP mod as the Prussians. I've taken the entire coast of Morocco just cause I was bored. My economy is doing fairly well 20-30 E per day, it's currently 1842 I believe. I also purchased Lux. from the Netherlands.

Close Combat V: Battle of the Ebro, [Mod] on the PC, as soon as I can
find the CD to re-install the original game. This game never dies, and I've
been waiting for a Spanish Civil War mod for a long time. Even attempted
mapping in order to create one myself, but am unfortunately totally inept
    in that field.

Also thought it was a real shame Tyler suddenly gets written out, he was a great character, easily the most well-rounded black character I've seen in a videogame.

From a storytelling point of view, it feels like they left out the middle third of the story. They have the intro and the ending, but the middle part is missing. I wonder if they actually meant to have a middle part in ?

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Now there is no build up for the Purple Clan, the 'relationship' between Lucas and what's-her-name-again and the increase of Lucas' powers. As for Tyler, I thought he was a walking stereotype for the most part (The way he walked ! The music !) but he did seem to have some depth that was left unexplored.
