    Do forts mitigate any winter effects in EB? In other words, can you "winter" in forts?

    I have had many 'vigorous' generals that got sick while spending the winter in a fort. On the other hand some of my most 'languorous' family members get sick even in cities. Maybe it gives some benefits, don't know...

    Hi,
    I think that the only real difference between vanilla forts and EB forts are that EB forts are, for the Selucids at least, absolutely free costing no mnai at all. Cheers.

    well they look different as well, for example the roman forts have the via praetoria, semi-accurate tent layouts, a ditch and rampart, etc.

    So the Roman fort differs from other forts for example the Greek or the barbarian?
