    Default Thank you

I just wanted to express my gratitude for those who cast their votes for my Cuman campaign chronicle in the HoF 2006 awards.

It is an absolute honour to have won that award, and it means a great deal to me. I was inspired to write up that campaign because of the wonderful work I was reading here, and your comments and interest continued to fuel that inspiration.

    Thank you again.

Congratulations with a double whammy, Banquo's Ghost!

Your M:TW stories are interesting and well-written. I don't have time to read all stories so I judge them by their first sentence. Your Cuman dynasty wasn't bad, but A Winter's Tale had the best first sentence I have seen in quite a while:

Iseult heard the faint skirl of pipes a heartbeat before a cry of loss broke the still, afternoon air.
But then you have been elected Best Backroom Contributor of 2006 as well, which is no mean feat.

You are a true asset to this community, Banquo's Ghost.

I think the clarity, insight, and humor present in all your writing that I've seen is largely responsible for both awards. (never having seen you lose your cool was probably an important part of the backroom one as well ) It's an honor to have you here at the .org, making this a place I continue to enjoy coming to. (note the expert use of a dangling preposition)
