Problems with threads - corrupted?

Just saw a post by blacksnail on a very important EB thread:

Guys, I'm having serious issues with the 0.81 stickied thread. From EBH I'm seeing 240 total replies, with the last one listed as "Yesterday, 23:55" by Dave. However, Ricardo posted stuff this morning - his most recent I can see is #178. Attempting to post gave me an error message, with nothing showing up in the thread, and in attempting to re-post the message it said I could not do so because I had submitted a "duplicate post" within the past five minutes. TK-421 mentioned issues with posts of his going unseen. Ricardo expressed surprise that changes of his were missed.

I'm not sure if it's all related, but I think the thread itself might be corrupted in some way. I have not seen this in other threads. I propose we start a second 0.81 patch thread and lock the first one just to be safe. We can link to the older one from the new patch thread.

Only EB members should be able to access it though. And maybe some global moderators.
