Thread: Loyalty, anyone?

    Default Loyalty, anyone?

I wonder, what´s the effect of loyalty? Theoretically, I know what it´s supposed to do, Generals with low loyalty are supposed to turn rebel, or even start civil wars in their own bid for the Crown, yet (playing on M/M) I have yet to see one of my generals rebel, even in the early game, where my Emperor was a chivalric wussy milksop with hardly any authority at all over what was to be had for dinner, let alone important matters of the Realm.
Of course, by now, Emperor Hans the Cruel (max. Authority and Dread) has no problems to have his wishes fulfilled...

Civil wars aren't part of M2. And we miss them...

I have had generals rebel, but it's usually captains that do. Nobody switches sides anymore because bribery got nerfed into oblivion.

I doubt chivalry has anything to do with low authority. at least it doesn't prevent from having a high one.
