Hello Eadric. Well met. What has been your experience of MTW2 versus the original? Hope you enjoy it around here.

Well Tom, I haven't had time to thoroughly explore the game yet but I feel pretty good about it. I'll admit that I was a little concerned by some of what I had heard about RTW: the usual complaints.

Overall, I'm happy to say that MTW2 has largely put my fears to rest. There are things I miss from MTW, but this is a different game and deserves to be judged on its own merits. By that criteria, it's a pretty cool game and I look forward to playing more.

"Something can be done, by careful analysis, to sort out truth from propaganda and legend. But this is where the real difficulties begin, since each student inevitably selects, constitutes criteria, according to his own unconscious assumptions, social, ethical or political. Moral conditioning, in the widest sense, plays a far greater part in the matter than most people- especially the historians themselves-ever realize."
