Slings and Arrows

Slingers make two sounds when firing, an initial whirling noise, then a release sound.

Casse slingers appear to make the arrow-release sound when they launch their stones.

Has anyone noticed this? I recall RTR fixing this problem with their Roman Fundatores.

I believe that will be fixed in 0.81.

Yep noticed it as well, hope it will be fixed with 0.81

I don't know if it is blacksnail. Isn't this a problem other mods have too? I don't know much of anything about those sound files, and one of our main problems is that we don't have many people working on them either.

I asked around the community how to fix this problem, but I didn't get lucky. Got a mini-mod with the problem supposedly fixed so I'll see if I can pin-point the differences, and hopefully fix the problem.

Is it just me or has anyone noticed that sometimes at the beginning of a battle where the enemy has barbarian archers they sometimes only appear as shadows when you scroll up close to them? It's like one of their model sizes isn't working right. I've also noticed this with iberian velites, they show up after they have been killed and sometimes they start working half way through the battle but still kind of weird.
