Post Do you listen to the advisors?

What do you think of Sir Robert and Lady Gwondelyn? Did you find their advices as life-savers or just something you wish to forget soon? How do you think they should improved, perhaps as input for the next patch

The advice given is good for players new to the game, once you've finished 1 campaign you should probably turn it off.

In the beginning I listened to them but now I pretty much know what to build and when. Ocassionally I come to a toss up as to whats best to build next and click on the advisor but its like Marquis said above, once you learn the ins and outs of city/fortess building you dont need their help anymore.

Yeah, they are only there for new players

I never really listened to them. From the start it seemed like they didn't prioritize economic growth enough for my tastes...

When i have surplus money i might ask the advisor what units to build next, and she always chooses the worst army possible. I had an almost full stack in a town with gunpowder and cannons and she told me to make peasants. Stupid woman.

I listen to them....But just so I can ridicule them and tell them how stupid it would be to follow their advice. They pretty much shut up after that.....

Yeah, for beginners, who've never seen the "light" of TW, it's great. I always turn 'em off, can't stand their yappin'. Hath it only a female sexy voice, I wouldn't be so annoyed, well.... probably still annoyed, but less.

Nothing's so messed up as to hearing them barge in again. "Arrrgh, shut up!"

They helped me out when I first started playing the game seeing how MTW2 was my first foray into the TW series. I still have them on but it only seems like Sir Robert pops up on a rare occasion when I am facing something new in warfare or ignoring something important on the battlefield.

My building advisor (Gwendolyn?) has a love of siege weapons, over almost everything else. I generally ignore her, since I know what I want and where I want it.

I suppose if you wanted a challenging campaign, you can let all economic decisions be made by your advisors and then use what troops they make to fight and stuff
