It sounds like a tragic episode involving all those well meaning government bureaucracies.
Something like that would never happen in the U.S.
It is the apology and payment I am talking about.
As you can see the U.S. won't remove him from the suspect list and in all likely hood never will.![]()
It has nothing to do with political leanings or who is in power though. It is bureaucratic stonewalling at its very best.
Another big problem is that it is almost a tradition to have poor oversight of regulations and rules imposed by our unelected civil servants in who knows how many departments, agencies, bureaus, etc. etc.
I'm not sure who started the process but it should have been stopped ages ago. It is however, one of those things that neither political party will touch. Maybe some one convenient to blame?![]()
