On Wednesday evening as I was sitting in front of the Computer reading the .org, I was struck with a severe pain in my lower abdominal muscles. I hadn't been feeling very good all that day, but that pain was the most agonizing I had ever felt; Ms. Waki had to drive me to the Hospital, we're I was given a good dosage of Morphineand I had to wait in the ER for 4 hours while they did blood tests and such. After awhile the Doctor thought it was my appendix, but he wasn't sure, the MRI showed that my Appendix was fine, my blood test showed a major elevation in my white blood cell count. I would have to stay the night while the Doc observed me to see if it could be something else.
By yesterday morning I was still in pain, in the same place. The Doctor decided to have a look around in that region, to see if it could be something else, but he was also going to perform the appendectomy anyways. So I was taken to the OR, where they knocked me out, which is the first time I had ever had that happened. It was almost like a dream, I remember them transfering me to the OR and then they put the oxygen mask on me, and put stuff in my IV that made me completely unconscious. Two hours later (although it seemed like an instantaneous amount of time to me) I was laying back in my room. I Felt Great! I played my Nintendo DS for awhile, until I was finally discharged at about 7:00 last night. Last night was rough though, even after I had gotten some pain medication. I'm just very weak and sore in my abdominal muscles. But at least I'm okay.![]()
