Thread: Recording battle statistics -- possible?

Default Recording battle statistics -- possible?

Hi there, first post here. I've looked around as best I could but couldn't really find anything that comes close to answering this question:

Is it at all possible to get the statistics from battles (troop type, kills, deaths, general name, etc) into a text file for statistical manipulation? Basically is there any way to draw that information out in an automatic fashion instead of having to write it out? If there is, I would definitely commit myself to learning about modding so I could make such a mod, but if not, I'd rather leave the modding to others.

Also, if RTW doesn't have it, does anyone know if MTW2 has it?

Thanks in advance if you can help answer my query.

I believe there was a mod like this, but it might have been for SPQR (the mod). Check the download section of the TWC.

And if it down't work, I would gladly try to help make one like that if you decided to.

I will investigate that, thank you. If anyone can add further direction, please do so!

In an ideal world, I would love to be able to either have an outside program that could display the stats in real time (kinda like some of the stuff for the civ games) but even just being able to get them to a text file so I could write a Java program to manipulate them would be great.
