    Default Super Bowl Poll

Welcome to the 3rd or possibly 4th annual Kongamato Super Bowl Polling Classic Presented by Kongamato, your number one Totalwar.org source for polling on Super Bowls, Stanley Cups, and various other things that only a few people here really give a crap about.

This year it is the Chicago Bears vs. the Indianapolis Colts. Polling options have been provided for those with reservations over the game of American Football.

I really don't have a favorite this year. Both teams have played inconsistently, and the game could go either way. My gut feeling it that it might not be as good a game as previous Super Bowls.

I have a strange feeling in my tummy too, I think I better go to the bathroom.
The Super Bowl has devolved into over 4 hours of commercials with a little football thrown in. I rarely watch much of it anymore. Colts by 6.

I picked the Colts in the thread at the start of the year.

I am sticking with my pick.

    Colts by four.

    The Colts, by 10.

Unlike the Bears, Indianapolis is good on *both* sides of the ball. They have a decent defense to compliment their high-powered offense. Chicago, however, lacks a good offense to compliment their great defense. So while both teams have good "D", Manning's offense is the only one that's going to score any touchdowns on Sunday.

On the flip side, Grossman is going be sacked and/or intercepted constantly. He's been lucky this season to have won as many games as he has, and Sunday is going to reveal him as the incompetent that he is.

How dare you! Don't belittle the power of the Super Bowl. We kicked your arse in W W 2 and we can do it again.

Um, I don't know. Maybe because the stadium vaguely resembles a bowl?

It runs like the Champions League. Pool (or division) matches through the regular season, then the top teams of each pool play each other in a knock out phase. The main difference is there are two "leagues" or conferences of four pools, and the champions of each one play each other for the "world" championship at the Super Bowl.

Not an exact description, but roughly how it works.

For some reason unbeknown to me, an acquaintance of mine is having a Superbowl party (that is, a party because the Superbowl is on). I think i'll have to read up on these teams and this bastardised game of rugby.

We had a half-decent team at one point, as far as I'm aware. Albeit probably
saturated with Americans. That was before the European game became the
    German game.

Colts all the way. The AFC is just so much better than the NFC. Its no contest. The Bears might get some turnovers, but when you get down to halftime, you'll know who's going to end up on top.

    Final Score
    Colts:34
    Bears:13

Bears by a Gould field goal in the fourth. Grossman can play well. I've started to assume it has to do with how much Urlacher threatens to beat him before the game.
