    Default Heading back to Cali

I have been to California several times (usually for business and in the greater LA area) but this time (in just a few weeks) I will be going to Anaheim. Any recommended “Must See” attractions, restaurants, bars, etc.? I will be there for a few days on business so only my evenings will be free.

    Thanks!

avoid the major theme parks, unless you've already been there. I'm not too sure about bars, I'm about 60 miles north of Anaheim so I don't spend much time there.

Only been to Disneyland and California, and some Knights thingy(very cool). I live in the Bay Area, and I usually am just passing through. Here is the link to the entertainment page at the cities website:http://www.anaheimoc.org/Articles/Ar...bpage10253.asp

    Hope this helps you.

Actually, I don't find the Anaheim area that interesting. Then again, I really only mostly visited Disneyland...

I mean, I got this feel it's just another crowded place in the big L.A. metropolis with only like the main streets near Anaheim Convention Center (big place, that) and Disneyland dressed up to attract tourists. Oh, and the beach on Long Beach. Too much people, though. I'm too used to third-world beaches with their lack of annoying people (then again, topless chicks...) and endless white sand stretching beyond the horizon.

Then again, it is the L.A. metropolis so I suspect with some research you'll get very interesting information about some cool roadside bars or an excellent museum/theater or two. I neither drink nor have time to seek out "culture" myself, and is useless on both accounts.

    Oh, and wiki.

Alas you are a year or two too late. The ducks there used to be mighty, but they aren't anymore.

Well, if you talk our revered Admins into making you Senior Member, you can get free beer at my house, and we can go see the local sights:

Plenty o'Fun, and cheap (but about 2 hours from Anaheim).

You should play RHCP's Californication on the way there.

Thanks for the suggestions, I leave soon and have found a few locals to chill with and hopefully find some fun regional excitement that doesn’t include the regular tourist attractions. If anyone is in the neighborhood let me know, I have the company credit card and a mighty thirst!
