After you click "end turn"? These are often due to rebelling cities. Have you tried the fix?
i tried the "fix" but the same thing occurs when i end my turn
I have the same problem, game crashes in winter 224-223 BC, second game in a row now that the same thing happened, in the same turn. Loading the game doesn't help, it still crashes on end turn.
I think it is more likely some event causes this, seeing that it's on the same turn in two separate games (both as the Romans, admittedly)It is hugely annoying, as you might suspect.

Usually scripted events that cause CTD are universal and everyone gets them. You could try a couple things:
Try running the turn with the script off, probably still crash...
You could turn the fow off and watch to see what happens immediately before or at the time of the crash.
Or load a game several turns back and hope it doesn't happen when you get there again.
There are some weird things that cause crashes in RTW. I have heard of two armies merging causing a crash, or a diplomat entering a city causing a crash, and then their one I keep getting that happens for no reason and doesn't repeat itself.
The fix seems to have worked. I also like the ability to build markets above lvl 3 as the Romans

Me and my girlfriend's baktrian campaign is also experiencing this. Fix has been tried, but it CTDed during an AI turn. Now she cannot load any of her save files, because it CTDs on the loading screen. Even starting a new campaign can't work, because EB totally crashes in the loading screen. Thus we can't even play at all now. Is this the same bug? It seems to affect -all- savegame files.
EB DEVOTEE SINCE 2004
I doubt that is the same bug, pezhetaroi. More likely one of the essential EB-files has become corrupt - one of those files which has to be loaded when starting (or continuing) a campaign.
It is possible that the save-games are still working, but your EB files are a bit messed up.
