I have good reason to believe Hughtower is innocent, which would make pevergreen innocent. Personally, I don't see what the slip up Redleg supposedly caught was.

Yes, Redleg had 5, but Redleg's role is not Pevergreen's role - Redleg is not a king, he is a mere lord, so his assumption that Pevergreen is lying because of his higher holmgang really has no basis. Especially when you consider that noone knows all the roles, or even the individual quirks of apparently similar roles.

Oh, and having Pevergreen fight Omanes is horrifically stupid. If we think they're both kings, than that is exactly what the jotun want - for the kings to die!

If you read carefully and fully - you will discover that pevergreen claims to be a human lord, not a king. Here is his exact claim "I am a Human Lord. Hughtower was my champion"

Now Hughtower did go to Vahalla - and claims pevergreen was his king. If Hughtower is correct and pevergreen is his king - then why did pevergreen lie about being only a lord? If Hughtower is incorrect and called pevergreen his king versus his Jarl, why did pevergreen lie about his holmgang rating?

Anyway you attempt to slice it pevergreen is caught in a lie - its just a matter of determining if he is a King or a jotun.

Whats funny is that pevergreen attempted to deny my reveal as a jarl by wanting Loki to smit me.

Either way the conclusion is that pevergreen has not shown that his interest lies with protecting the gathering from the jotun

Indeed - that strikes the possiblity that his reveal as a lord is the lie - where he is actually a king. The holmgang rating higher then 5 would demonstrate that more then anything else. That he knows about the champions could come from several sources - even two or three that I shared the information with via PM. But we should give him the benefit of the doubt because of Hughtower's confirmation of being his champion. Primarily because we know from the write up that Hughtower went to Vahalla.

It would be a bad thing for the gathering to have a holmgang between Omanes and pevergreen. Omanes reveal looks a lot like my Jarl PM in the scope and content of the role. Now until Sigurd gives his premission to post the PM, you will have to take my word on it. Hopefully he will allow me since I revealed earlier - but its his game.

Either way pevergreen should come completely clean on what his role is because its critical to the game at this point. If he is speaking a small lie to protect his role as one of the kings - he needs to fix that aspect. If he can not provide the information - well then its up to the remaining to determine if his role is pro-gathering or projotun. That he denied my reveal and wanting to have me smitted is a tell.

In otherwords its a good thing for him that the jotun killed me last night phase.

Right now he has cast doubt on himself. Those that have protection abilities at night need to know the truth so that they can determine whom best to protect at night. Right now it seems Omanes is their best candidate.
