Indeed - that strikes the possiblity that his reveal as a lord is the lie - where he is actually a king. The holmgang rating higher then 5 would demonstrate that more then anything else. That he knows about the champions could come from several sources - even two or three that I shared the information with via PM. But we should give him the benefit of the doubt because of Hughtower's confirmation of being his champion. Primarily because we know from the write up that Hughtower went to Vahalla.Originally Posted by Sasaki Kojiro
It would be a bad thing for the gathering to have a holmgang between Omanes and pevergreen. Omanes reveal looks a lot like my Jarl PM in the scope and content of the role. Now until Sigurd gives his premission to post the PM, you will have to take my word on it. Hopefully he will allow me since I revealed earlier - but its his game.
Either way pevergreen should come completely clean on what his role is because its critical to the game at this point. If he is speaking a small lie to protect his role as one of the kings - he needs to fix that aspect. If he can not provide the information - well then its up to the remaining to determine if his role is pro-gathering or projotun. That he denied my reveal and wanting to have me smitted is a tell.
In otherwords its a good thing for him that the jotun killed me last night phase.
Right now he has cast doubt on himself. Those that have protection abilities at night need to know the truth so that they can determine whom best to protect at night. Right now it seems Omanes is their best candidate.

You don’t have any special abilities other than having a champion that might take your place at a Holmgang. If you are challenged to a Holmgang PM me if you want your champion to take your place. Your champion is:
Now Sigurd forgot to include my holmgang rating in the initial PM but it was a score of 5 based upon the write up above. As discussed with Reenk earlier in the thread - the score of 5 was most likely the norm for the Jarl

Sorry for being inactive...again. This thread has grown hugely since I last read it.
Vote: Pevergreen for apparently lying. 8 seems like a ridiculously high holmgang rating anyway for mere humans.
Gee, Redleg, you think maybe pevergreen was trying to conceal his role from the jotun?
Or maybe they just misspoke? Huh, that'd be a firstAnyway you attempt to slice it pevergreen is caught in a lie - its just a matter of determining if he is a King or a jotun.![]()
Oh, the one where you denied Reenk was Loki and tried to drive him into the arms of the jotun? That he denied my reveal and wanting to have me smitted is a tell.
Just because people's reveals aren't the exact same as yours does not make them jotun.

LOL. Misspoke without clarification becomes a lie. Until he corrects the error - it can be seen as a lie, because the evidence directly contradicts what he initially stated.Originally Posted by Crazed Rabbit

Don't worry though Crazed Rabbit after this lynching round I won't be posting much more only reading the thread. I just thought it was interesting that pevergreen would attempt such a bold face lie given that the holmgang ratings of jarls was covered much earlier in the thread.

You are only going to see something truly lopsided if a 7+ holmganger takes on a 1-2 pointer thrall. Absent that, you can estimate that the winner is likely to be stronger, but...

Now until pevergreen fully explains his lie - or has Crazed Rabbit stated his "mis-speak" such a holmgang is foolish. Great m8, that shows Pever is obviously lying. No-one will forget his Holmgang rating, or delete the most important pm of the game.Originally Posted by Omanes Alexandrapolites the Idiot
You're rating makes sense (as it's mostlikely true) but Pever's 7 or 8 doesn't.

It is evident that pevergreen is a Jotun, in league with Andres. My PM is clearly not a fake and, since pevergreen desires to challenge a clear King it is evident that he wants me dead. Very Jotunish.

CR's defense of pevergreen is noted.
Upon further review, I concur with Rabbit as to HughTower's innocence. Following from that...

As for Omanes, the role pm looks real enough.
So, for now, pevergreen and Omanes are off the suspect list. You don't have to duel each other as far as I am concerned.
Still left: Ichigo and Lord Motep
Oh, and here is a copy of my pm conversation with Sigurd.

HughTower went to Valhalla upon death.
So far, all of those heading to Valhalla have been: warriors, non-jotun
That is pretty much definitional for the Einheriar. They weren't recruiting dancing masters, but they were there to OPPOSE the jotun.
Hugh has publicly vouched for pevergreen.
Hugh, assuming he was a champion, would have known the name of his Lord. He did specifically say this of pevergreen.
They may both be playing a game to protect their real king, using pev as a sacrafice, but that's a bit of a long-shot explanation.
Overall, I am inclined to trust this Einheriot.
pevergreen inflating his holmgang rating as a protective tool isn't hard to explain -- though he should have reviewed existing information more closely before doing so. This, so far, is the only real piece of evidence being used to hang him.
I was following Sasaki's lead on sapi....but Sasaki is "whirling" again.
Omanes, on the other hand, seems to have put out a convincing reveal and he is voting against pevergreen. Yet we are also aware that none of the kings are aware of one another.
Unvote; Vote Kagemusha
Why? pevergreen I believe is good, omanes seems good, sapi is just feuding with Sasaki, ichigo isn't trustworthy, but neither is Reenk.....so I'm grabbing a lurker and hoping he'll add his voice.

But you gave a good reason to unvote Omanes, so you're no longer a suspect. Just don't meatball anymore in the future, you naughty boy
On the other hand, maybe you did unvote Omanes because it is obvious now that he is pro-town and keeping your vote would make you look suspicious.
Sorry Stig, you're back on the list.

If I can't get you, Omanes, I'll get your partner. Sorry, people with a role that lie to cover the role generally explain themselves after they're sniffed out. Pevergreen on the other hand appears to be taking a "maybe this will all blow over" approach. It will, once we put a spear through your heart, you filthy Jotun!
