I have 56k modem and Audigy sound card. Everytime I connected to the internet and use any sound-producing software (Winamp, DVD, games, etc) my PC will instantly crash. However, when I switch to using on-built motherboard audio, things will just go smooth, no crash, no annoyances. But when I switch back using sound card, tadaa! Blue screen again! Seems like there's conflict of interest between the twoAnyway here's what I have done, and ultimately failed:
- Switch the position of modem (PCI)
- Switch the position of the Audigy sound card
- Switch both
- Turning off modem sound
- Trying to install latest driver (this one even cause my Windows to die...)
And here's my spec:
Windows XP Pro SP2
Pentium 4 2600 MHz
1 GB RAM
Audigy sound card (duh)
HIS X800 PRO Radeon
DirectX 9.0c
