    Question Reinstall question

    Sorry if this had been asked before, did a couple of searches and came up empty.

    I've had to reinstall the game, before the reinstall I had my campaign set to not show the AI activities and also for me to manage all settlements. But after the reinstall it goes back to default. How can I change these settings back to the way they were?

    Open the medieval2.preferences.config file in your root m2tw directory and change the relevant settings (they should be pretty easy to find)

    EDIT:
    Because i'm nice
    ...
    ai_factions = skip
    ...
    micromanage_all_settlements = 1
    ...

    (goes for the micromanage only)

    and if you dont want to do that, you can simply choose the option from the ingame Faction screen (click on the Faction Shield icon in the Campaign map, and its on the default screen) or when choosing a new grand campaign, the option is there as well.
