The school I attended distinguished between concentration camps and the death camps run by the SS used exclusively for the extermination of the Jewish people.

I can only blame my own ignorance for my misuse of terminology.

I may be anti-Zionist but I am definitely not anti-Jewish. Having been tortured myself how can I not feel sympathy for what happened to the Jewish people at the hands of the NAZI's led by a charismatic sociopath.

You can believe or not but I fell bad enough as it is that my ignorance has caused so much hurt. I was trying to point out we killed babies too, though not deliberately, ineptly and carelessly.

I don't care what the rest of the community thinks but I wanted you guys to know.

I've got to now live with knowing how much pain I have caused knowing also that like many things in my life I can not go back and change this.

um.. This is obviously something which has been initiated in private, and which you feel needs to be made public, however as it stands it doesnt actually make a great deal of sense (to me at least).

I guess what I am saying is, did you mean to post this in the EB forum? It seems a bit random, especially given there is no (immediately apparent) reason for the topic. Are you inviting discussion from us?

Please dont take offence, Im just a bit confused.

Well while I believe you made an error in posting this here Slartibardfast, I think it shows strength of character to do something like this.

If it's any consolation I respect you for this even though I don't know you and you more than likely don't know me.
