Problem With Total War 2

Hello,

I'm new and hope someone can help me out. I'm late in the single player campaign as France. Everytime I go into a battle with the Timurids, the game locks up and crashes, it doesn't, or hasn't happened with any other armies.

i too am having game crash issues. i even un/reinstalled the game, and keep getting the same "unspecified" error everytime i try and fight a battle. what gives?

Are you running the 1.1 patch?

There was a bug with the timurid elephant units (the game would ctd when they didn't have an exact number of men to man the elephants) that has been mostly fixed in the patch.
