Starting up EB, and I just get vanilla

I just installed Rome Total War, the version published by SEGA which is 1.5.0, and then installed EB. However, when I start the Rome Total War application, I just get plain Rome Total War, not EB. Is there something else I have to do after installation to play this?

There's a folder called EB in my rome total war directory, and an ebicon, if that's any help.

Are you using the EB shortcut on the desktop to start it, or the old shortcut for RTW? You need to use the EB shortcut.

Oh wow, didn't even notice the shortcut icon. I figured since I didn't see an EB application in the RTW folder I could just use the RTW app.

I have the same problem. I think it is because I am not doing smth right. Could you, please, be specific - once I get patch 1_5 (I get it on my desk top), do I install it in one of the folders (by the way, which one should I use, Activision or Creative Assembly?). Then, when I Get EB, which folder I should point it to? SOrry for being so ignorant, I'm just not too good in it? If anybody could just give me example, I would really appreciate it. THanks!

Right click on your normal RTW desktop icon. The file you need to put EB is the one in the target field.
Example (mine): The target field for the icon:

"C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe"

So I would install EB to:

C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\
