Well, Bel Riose is the name of the last great emperor of the Galactic Empire in Isaac Asimov's Foundation Series (which is like, awesome). The Empire in the series is based on the Roman one in Edward Gibbon's "History of the Rise and Fall..." and Bel Riose just happens to be eerily similar to Belisarius, the rather talented (maybe exaggerated, I'm not well read on the subject) Byzantine general we all know.

Well, I'm not the first to post it, but mine is also first initial, last name. My online names have gone through a series of changes in the past 10 years, starting with an RPG based name, until I eventually just decided to use my real name.
