Marian Military Reforms ?

This is my first post and first things first.

Thank you all at EB for your outstanding MOD, I waited along time for 0.8 and well worth it.

I'm currently playing first campaign as Rome and have reached 251 BC.

When up pops Gaius Marius as per RTW. This has happened twice about the same year.

I read earlier that Rome has 4 reforms Camilan, Polybian, Marian nad Augustan and that they take place at a more realistic timescale.

So when the announcment about Marius pops up is this simply something that couldn't be changed in the CA programme.

Just curious as no change has occured to my units.

And apologies if this has been asked befors.

That's a bug we have fixed in the forthcoming 0.81. That is actually the Vanilla message for the Marian reforms and doesn't actually have anything to do with how EB uses its reforms. Marian won't happen for quite a while, most likely.

Excellent thanks for the reply, I'm looking forward to playing longer with Hastai, Princepes and Triarii.

I always found it annoying in RTW that just when I began to raise Triarri up popped Gaius and that was that.
